Slip into heavenly culottes tailored to your body as you transition into fall. One of the hero pieces of your wardrobe, culottes are comfortable as trousers and as graceful as a skirt. Pair it with a top that ‘just’ covers the waistband such as a crop top or tank top. Work, brunch, errands, lounging or chilling. We have you covered.
The pattern includes options for culottes or a skirt in knee to ankle length and every length in between… pleats or gathers, high waisted yoga waistband or elastic waistband. Upgrade with functional good sized pockets or a beautiful tie back bow tie.

This pattern pairs beautifully with the Wonderful Sews Komorebi Crop Top and Big Effing Cardigan for a comfortable spring or fall outfit. It is recommended, however, that you chose to add a tie back on the top or the skirt, not both.

FABRIC REQUIREMENTS
This pattern can be made in knit or woven.
4.5 meters of medium weight fabric with flowy drape.
KNIT: For a dressier look we recommend light to medium weight ponte, scuba, athletic knit. For a casual look try cotton lycra/spandex, slub, a lightweight french terry. The high waistband requires at least a 50% two way stretch and good recovery so can only be made in knit.
WOVEN: Flowy wovens such as linen and viscose linen can be used for the skirt but woven skirts must be paired with the elastic waistband option only.
